Maharashtra has decided on 7 day Institutional quarantine for the travelers coming from the countries which have an incidence of the Omicron Variant

All International passengers will have to give a travel history of last 15 days and those coming from " At Risk" countries will have to go through a 7 day Institutional quarantine at Mumbai and will have to undergo an RT PCR test on arrival day 2 , 4 and 7 If found positive , the passenger will be shifted to a hospital .If the RT PCR test is negative , a further 7 day of home quarantine is recommended


All passengers coming from countries other than the " At Risk "countries will have to undergo  an RTPCR test at the airport after disembarkation and will be allowed to leave the airport only after the test results confrim a negative report and advised to undergo home quarantine for 14 days

All transit passengers having connecting flights to other states from Maharashtra (without leaving the airport) will have to go thru an RTPCR test and will be allowed to board the onnecting flight only if found negative

The At Risk countries list will be updated real time.At the moment they comprise UK and all european countries , Hongkong , Singapore , South Africa ,Brazil ,Botswana,China ,Mauritius ,Zimbabwe and Israel

All domestic passengers arriving into Maharshtra need to carry an RTPCR reprt not more than 48hours prior regradless of the vaccination status
